Pakistan suffering with Dengue Virus | News

September 27, 2011

Pakistan is facing a serious dengue fever epidemic due to recent floods.  More than 4,000 cases of the potentially deadly virus have been reported in the past two months.  Dengue fever, which is transmitted through mosquito bites, is not new to Pakistan, but experts worry that it is spreading fast and may reach crisis proportions if not treated.

FTH partner ministry, Christian Fellowship Pakistan, is responding to this need!  Last month medical teams were dispatched to three different areas in Chunia and Naye-Ke, providing medical help to almost 1,700 people. Our doctors diagnosed these needy people and also provided free medicine. In these regions of Pakistan the team displayed Christ's Love to hundreds of people and shared His gospel with these precious people.   Praise the Lord!

Thank you so much for your prayers and support for the people of Pakistan.  Through your partnership thousands of people are being affected through the power of the Gospel.   We are grateful!
