DISASTER PREPAREDNESS

Suffering from the worst drought in 60 years — millions in the Horn of Africa don’t have enough food to eat.. and children are dying. Thousands of families in the Horn of Africa were unable to prepare for the worst famine in a generation... but with your help, Feed the Hungry was. 

When tragedies strike, like the current drought crisis in the Horn of Africa, Feed the Hungry has to react quickly... enabling national churches to provide quick, compassionate relief to victims in Christ’s name.

Already this year, Feed The Hungry has:

• Delivered $300,000 worth of aid to drought victims in the Horn of Africa
• Provided  emergency aid to equip Japanese Christians who are ministering to earthquake and tsunami victims
• Continued aid for Haiti, where hundreds of thousands of Haitians remain displaced by the catastrophic earthquake, and are threatened by malnutrition, cholera, and other diseases

So many recent disasters have stretched our capacity.  We need your help to restock with emergency food and supplies — to ensure that we can respond quickly to the next great need, whether it is half a world away, or in your own backyard . . .
