Sept. 10, 2008 - Aiding Hurricane Victims in Haiti and Cuba

Feed the Hungry has shipped more than 750,000 emergency relief rations to the nation of Haiti. The life-saving cargo arrived in Port au Prince just prior to Hurricane Gustav battering the north coast of the island.

Feed the Hungry is sending an additional 40 tons of emergency food rations to aid Haiti, the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, in the wake of Hurricane Ike.

FTH will also provide 40 tons of food supplies for shipment to the nation of Cuba which sustained a direct hit from Hurricane Ike, a dangerous Category 4 storm that spent nearly two days over the long, narrow island.
