May 28, 2008 - OKLAHOMA TORNADO
Feed the Hungry has mobilized a 53’ semi loaded with food and clothing to help hundreds affected by the deadly tornado that ripped through Parkersburg, Iowa. These items will leave the FTH warehouse in South Bend, Indiana on Wednesday morning (May 28) at 8:30am and will arrive Wednesday evening in Parkersburg at The Hope Reformed Church.

May 21, 2008 - MYANMAR CYCLONE UPDATE
FTH US Director, Stefan Radelich, has just returned from Yangon, Myanmar, where he spent the past week developing the relief effort of the local church in Myanmar after Cyclone Nargis devastated the country. Stefan tells us the church has very successfully developed a relief centre, and is currently feeding over 50,000 people every day. They are also able to get into the Delta region, where foreign agencies have not been allowed up to this point, and distributed 10 tonnes of rice in the city of Bogale.

May 21, 2008 - CHINA EARTHQUAKE UPDATE
FTH Hong Kong Director, Armanda Da Roza, has been in the city of Chengdu and surrounding villages since Sunday helping with relief efforts to earthquake survivors in the Sichuan region of China. She is overcome with stories of devastation, saying that everyone she talks with has either lost a loved one, lost their home and belongings, or both. One lady recounted that she was cooking when the earthquake struck, and although she managed to escape death it is of little comfort because her baby was killed.
